Streetwise works with Jewish schools and Community organisations, enhancing the personal safety and personal development of young Jewish people to support their safe, physical, and emotional wellbeing.

Streetwise Transition to Secondary School Workshop

This workshop will look at:

  • What excites and concerns young people about moving to secondary school
  • What potential difficult situations might young people face and how will they overcome them
  • Giving advice on personal safety including strangers, using public transport and age appropriate self defence techniques

Date: Tuesday 24th August

Time: 10:30am - 3:00 pm

Age: Year 6

Streetwise @ Norwood Summer Scheme

Tackling everyday issues through games, drama, art and personal safety activities

  • For children dealing with social and emotional challenges.
  • Improving self confidence, communication and team work
  • Providing tools for managing emotions.

Dates: 27th-30th July

Time: 9:30am - 3:30pm (12:30pm on Friday)

Age: School Years 3-6 (Must be referred by a teacher or parent)

Leadership by Streetwise

A unique programme training the youth of today to become the leaders of tomorrow.

The programme consists of a long residential weekend in December, a number of Hands on Events throughout February to April and a graduation weekend at the end of June. Participants are able to choose to focus their training in the field of Jewish Community Leadership or Sports Leadership.

Ages: School Years 10-13
